An electronic and marine engineer, during the 33   years he had hand on experience in New Ship Construction, Training,   Projects and Commercial (as a Commercial Manager in a   shipyard). He has a Diploma in Computer Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Inst. And MA in Economics
  from Bombay University  obtained post-retirement from the Navy.
